How to Add Customized Scripts for Secure Client

Before you begin

  1. Configure a remote access VPN.

  2. Enable scripting in the VPN profile.

  3. Add the VPN profile to the remote access VPN group policy.

Procedure

Create OnConnect and OnDisconnect scripts for a platform.

Create a new Secure Client Customization object.

  1. Choose Objects > Object Management > VPN > Secure Client Customization.

  2. Click Add Secure Client Customization.

  3. Enter the name and description for the customization.

  4. From the Customization Type drop-down list, choose Scripts.

  5. From the Platform drop-down list, choose a platform.

  6. Select one of the following:

    • On Connect: To select an OnConnect script.

    • On Disconnect: To select an OnDisconnect script.

  7. Click Browse and select the script you want to execute on the endpoint.

Add the customization to the remote access VPN policy.

  1. Choose Devices > Remote Access.

  2. Click the edit icon of the remote access VPN policy.

  3. Click Advanced > Secure Client Customizations > Localization.

  4. Click + to select the translation file.

  5. Click Add.

  6. Click OK.

Click Save.

Choose Deploy > Deployment and deploy the policy to assigned devices. The changes are not active until you deploy them.
