Assign Roles to Existing Users

A role enables you to assign predefined permissions to a user or group. An administrator can assign multiple roles to one or more users or groups.

Procedure

In the Security Cloud Control platform menu, choose Platform Services > Platform Management.

Choose Access Management > Administrator Access.

Click the Roles tab.

The Roles page displays a list of roles with the name, product association, and role description.

Choose the roles by checking the check boxes next to each role name.


 

Multiple roles can be assigned to users and groups.

Click Assign.

In the Assign role slide-in pane, choose the users and groups from the Users and Groups drop-down lists respectively.

Click Assign role.

The selected roles are assigned to the chosen users and groups.
