Delete a Custom Role

You can delete a custom role only if it is not assigned to any user or group.

Procedure

In the Security Cloud Control platform menu, choose Platform Services > Platform Management.

Choose Access Management > Administrator Access.

Click Admin roles.

To access the delete menu, do one of the following:

  • Click the three-dot menu that is next to the custom role and select Delete.

  • Select a role and click the Delete button at the top bar.


 

The Delete button is displayed only for custom roles. (Static roles can’t be deleted.)

If the role is already assigned to users or groups, a warning message is displayed, and the role is not deleted.

Click Delete in the Delete Custom Role dialog box.
