Redirect Umbrella Traffic to Secure Access Sources

In this step, you are switching traffic from Umbrella to Secure Access. You can reverse traffic in this step at any time, until you complete the upgrade and close your Umbrella account. If desired, you can also create a new identity in Umbrella to test functionality in Secure Access.

Procedure

1	In Redirect Traffic, click Start. The Redirect Traffic to Secure Access page displays the following identity types with traffic that you can redirect to Secure Access. Networks Network Devices Roaming Computers Mobile Devices Chromebook Users Sites
2	Click an identity type. A list of the available identities of that identity type will appear in Traffic directed to Umbrella policy.
3	Select the identities to redirect traffic to Secure Access.
4	Click the arrow to move the selected identities to Traffic directed to Secure Access policy.
5	Click Redirect Traffic.
6	A pop-up message states, The following identity and source traffic will be redirected to Secure Access or Umbrella.
7	Check I understand and wish to proceed.
8	Click Redirect. Once the authentication is complete, a success modal appears: Traffic successfully redirected.

What to do next

View the Activity Search report in Secure Access to verify that the sources traffic are successfully redirected. In the left-hand navigation click Secure Access > Reports > Activity Search. For more information, see View and Customize the Activity Search Report.
